Brief info

Eugene Plotkin has been organizing and producing music concerts, festivals, competitions, and other events for over a decade.

Mr. Plotkin graduated from New York University’s Stern School of Business with a degree in Finance. Throughout his career, he worked in financial services, management and technology consulting, healthcare, and some of the largest global advertising networks in the industry.

In 2010, Mr. Plotkin was thrilled to be able to combine his skills, experience, passion for the performing arts, and desire to help others as Co-Founder and Vice President of Forte International Music Competition and Festivals. Since then, he helped successfully create and produce multiple events as part of the Forte International Music Competition, Music Mosaic Festival, and President’s Cup that allowed participants from around the world to showcase their talent across different stages around NYC in front of esteemed judges and vibrant audiences and get recognized with various prizes and awards.

Mr. Plotkin was also a Founder and Producer of the New York Jewish Music Festival (NYJMF) in 2015 and 2017. This festival was originally created as part of the prestigious COJECO BluePrint Fellowship program funded by the UJA-Federation of New York and Genesis Philanthropy Group and debuted at Symphony Space in NYC on June 7, 2015.

At this time, Eugene Plotkin continues to serve as Vice President of Forte International Music Competition and Festivals, where he hopes to help talented musicians make their way in the performing arts arena and realize their potential.
